US Sanctions on Iranian Individuals and Companies

 The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on two Iranian companies and four citizens.He is suspected of being part of Iran's drone program.

Washington has also been accused of supporting the Revolutionary Guards.The Iranian elite force was declared a terrorist organization by the United States two years ago.

Washington Administration Alleges

 The Washington administration alleges that the individuals and companies provided drones to the Lebanese Shiite military and political organization Hezbollah and to Houthi rebels in Yemen.The affected individuals and companies will not be able to do business with the United States and all their assets in the United States have been frozen.

A statement from the State Department said, "The Revolutionary Guards have provided drone support to Iranian-backed groups, some of which have carried out attacks on US troops."

 "We will continue to fight Iran's threatening activities and its supporters," said US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken.

Iranian Foreign Ministry 

Iran has condemned the US sanctions, saying talks on Iran's nuclear program would resume in Vienna next month.Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzada said: "It has been proven that Biden is following Trump's policies."

 The move by Washington comes at a time when leaders attending the G20 summit in Rome have also discussed the Iranian nuclear deal.

US President Joe Biden has met with French President Francois Hollande and will also meet with German and British leaders.In these meetings too, the Iranian nuclear talks are on the agenda of the talks.The two sides are working to find a diplomatic solution to the problem.

Iran has announced its participation in the next round of nuclear talks.A new round of talks will begin in November.
