The new tourist destination in Saudi Arabia will be operational by 2026.
According to the vice president of hospitality firm Sierra Group, Fahd Al-Ubailan, the resort in Al-Baha will be operational by 2026 with the support of the Tourism Development Fund.
In an interview with Arab News on the sidelines of the World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, Sierra Group Vice President Fahd Al-Ubailan said that the company received $136 million from the Tourism Development Fund for the project.
He said that Saudi Arabia is going to become a top tourist destination by 2030 which will attract more than 100 million tourists annually.
Fahd Al-Ubailan said that we are developing a resort in Al-Baha which will have a retail landmark as well as an activation center.
