China announces 15 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan announced the assistance during a meeting with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaki in Kabul.

According to a Taliban spokesman, the two leaders also discussed issues facing the Afghan people, including issues of common interest.

The Chinese Ambassador assured Amir Khan Mottaki that China would continue to cooperate with the new Afghan government.
On the other hand, the caretaker Afghan Foreign Minister also called on Pakistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan in which the two leaders discussed issues facing Afghan refugees in Pakistan and especially issues related to transportation on the Pak-Afghan border.
