A bomb blast outside Afghanistan's Kabul airport has killed at least 13 people and injured dozens more.

According to Aljazeera media, gunfire can be heard after the blast at the eastern gate of Kabul Airport.
Afghan media say that the United States had reported a major attack on the airport the day before and had also instructed the Americans to stay away from Kabul airport immediately in view of the threat.
Afghan media, flights have been suspended at Kabul airport and planes have been grounded.
Turkish media say that two explosions have taken place at Kabul airport, 13 deaths have been confirmed in the blast.
Afghan media, 15 people were injured in the blast, including 3 American soldiers.
The injured have been shifted to hospital.
