Although the last war between Hamas and Israel took place in exactly the same way as the traditional pattern of long-running conflict between the two sides. The United Nations has now estimated the significant financial losses from these wars.

Fighting Between Hamas and Israel

The latest wave of fighting between Hamas and Israel has been exactly the same as in many of the wars in Gaza over the past thirteen years.

However, the United Nations has now provided an overview of the financial losses of these wars.According to the World Health Organization, four wars over the past decade have damaged more than 5 billion in housing, agriculture, industry, electricity and water supply infrastructure in Gaza alone.

The same scene after every war

In the aftermath of the wars in the Gaza Strip in 2008, 2009, 2012 and now in 2011.The same scene unfolded, Palestinians mourning the dead, children trembling with fear of the next war, and ruins.Palestinians trying to rebuild homes.

However, a closer look reveals a grim reality. That is, no reconstruction project was less than a major challenge.Satellite images of war-torn areas and the death toll tell heart-wrenching facts.

The young generation of Gaza

Economic data show that a whole new generation of Gazans is in dire need of employment, but they see little prospect of employment. These Palestinians are living in a very unsatisfactory and unsatisfactory situation.

Forty percent of them are unsure about their future and are ready to leave the Gaza Strip if given the chance.Experts say Gaza is in a constant state of crisis and the war is only aggravating the situation. This result exacerbates both the struggle and the difficulties of the Palestinians.

Layers of Trauma

Gaza has always been a battleground between Israel and the Palestinians.One-third of Gaza's total population is made up of families.Who were forcibly evicted by Israel during the 1948 war.

The first Palestinian uprising against Israel began in Gaza in the late 1980s.The militant Islamic group Hamas began its movement against the existence of Israel. One year after winning the Palestinian parliamentary elections in 2007.Hamas took control of Gaza and Israel closed the Gaza border with the help of Egypt. The result is that even today, without Israel's permission, no one or anything can enter or leave the area.

Thousands of rockets fired at Israel

Thousands of rockets were fired at Israel by Hamas in each battle.Over the past decade, Israel's Iron Dome air defense system has prevented many rockets from hitting targets.Missiles and air strikes hit more than 1,500 targets by Israel last May.

The Tel Aviv government says it aimed not only at military targets, but also at the destruction of many civilian structures.Israel says Hamas continues to operate in residential areas and has targeted some urban areas.

The United Nations has used satellite imagery to assess the damage done to Gaza's infrastructure so far by the wars and Israeli attacks. These satellite images tell the story of one war after another and the story of Gaza's repeated devastation. The worst-hit areas include Rafah in southern Gaza, Khuza'ah and the northern town of Beit Hanoun.

A generation that grew up in war

According to Palestinian officials, 70 percent of Gaza's two million people are under the age of 30.These young adults have spent their childhood and adolescence in the 'war zone' during the regular war.The average age of young people in Gaza is 19 and in Israel it is 30.

The challenges they face include dealing with the effects of unemployment and living in a long-term state of war.Unemployment in the region has risen sharply since Hamas took control of Gaza and is twice as high in the West Bank as the West Bank allows citizens to move freely. There are more work permits and opportunities.

According to experts, post-traumatic stress disorder is very common among children in the Gaza Strip.

A Research in 2012

A research was completed in the 2012 war with the help of nearly a thousand children.Almost all of whom said they had heard shelling from tanks, artillery and military aircraft.Half of the children said they had seen someone injured or killed.
