Users have been told by the company that the iPhone will only scan photos that will be mounted on the iCloud.
Earlier, under the new feature, in case of any nasty pictures of children in any iPhone, the concerned authorities will also be notified automatically.Apple announced the introduction of these features, initially in the United States and then around the world.
United States Peoples signed Petition against iPhone
More than 5,000 people in the United States have signed a petition against the new iPhone feature, raising concerns that the new feature could lead to data theft.
Apple said the main purpose of introducing the new feature is to prevent the spread of child sexual abuse content.
The company added that parents who use LinkedIn family accounts on their mobile phones will also receive notifications about such content.
