China and Russia have announced plans to build a joint space station on the moon.

Russia 60th Anniversary First Space Flight

The announcement comes as Russia prepares to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its first space flight. The former Soviet Union, Russia, first sent a man into space in 1961.

According to the foreign news agency, the Russian space agency Roscosmos has said that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese space station to provide experimental and research facilities on the moon or in its orbit.

According to a press release issued by the two countries, the joint space station will be available to other countries interested in space research.

According to media reports, no information has been given as to when the joint Russian-Chinese space station will be ready and when work on it will start.

It should be noted that for the past few years, China has been focusing on its space program and China is the world's second largest investor in the space program after the United States.China is sending more military and civilian missions into space than Russia and Japan.

According to media reports, the joint lunar station will conduct extensive scientific research, including the search for the moon and its full research.

It may be recalled that in December last year, China successfully landed its space mission Cheng Five.

The purpose of the Cheng Five mission is to collect soil and rock samples from the lunar surface and bring them back to Earth. The lunar vehicle will spend the next few days.

This lunar vehicle is equipped with many devices including camera, spectrometer and radar.

The lunar vehicle will collect about two kilograms of dust from the surface of the moon and send it to Earth via another part of the robotic spacecraft orbiting the moon.
