Sudanese army ready to reinstate ousted prime minister

  The Sudanese army has agreed to reinstate ousted Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk.  According to military and civilian leaders.An agreement has been reached between the political parties and the military in this regard.

Reuters news agency quoted the head of the country's main political party as saying that the Sudanese army was ready to restore Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk.In this regard, an agreement has been reached between the army and political parties.According to which government officials and politicians arrested after the military coup on October 25 will also be released.The development is part of an effort to stem the tide of violence in Sudan since the military coup.

 According to officials, the United Nations, the United States and other countries have played a key role in this agreement.The military coup in Sudan was being criticized internationally.


 A source close to Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk told Reuters he had accepted the power-sharing deal with the military.Earlier, he denied any talks with the army and called for a series of protests in the country.

Abdullah Hamdouk's detention is over

 Following the developments, which took place on Sunday, November 21, the Sudanese army lifted the house arrest of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk and removed security forces stationed outside his home.Following the military coup on October 25, Abdullah Hamduk's cabinet was overthrown and several government and political leaders were arrested and the prime minister was placed under house arrest.

 Thousands march towards the presidential palace

 Despite reports of an agreement between the Sudanese army and political parties, thousands of Sudanese marched on the presidential palace in Khartoum.The demonstrators were demanding the removal of army chief Abdul Fattah al-Burhan.

 Sudanese security forces used tear gas to disperse protesters, according to AFP.At least 40 people have been killed in violent protests across the country since October 25.
