JAKARTA: At least 41 people have been killed and dozens injured in a fire at an Indonesian prison.
Àccording to British media reports.The blaze left 41 prisoners dead and more than 70 injured.
Tangrang General Hospital
He said that the critically injured prisoners were rushed to Tangrang General Hospital while those with minor burns were being treated at the jail hospital.He said firefighters contained the blaze after about an hour.
Preliminary investigation
He further said that according to the preliminary investigation, it is suspected that the fire started due to short circuit but further investigations are being carried out in this regard.
