Facebook: 50 Crore User Data Sold for Rs 600,000 Rupees || Instagram

Facebook's application for data messaging of more than 500 million users was sold on Telegram.

According to the report of India Today, the data of more than 500 million users, who have created accounts on Telegram have been sold to other companies for 600,000 Indian rupees.

The technology monitoring website Motherboard revealed in its report that the data and numbers of Facebook users have been sold to various companies through TelegramBot.

According to a report by security watchdog Alon Gall.The data was sold for just Rs 600,000 Rupees.

The company has also shared details of some of the numbers sold on the internet.

Same Number Use Facebook &Telegram:

The report states that the hackers gained access to the data of users who had created a Facebook and Telegram account with the same number.

This data is not for users in a particular country, but for people using the app around the world.Under which their Facebook account information is also provided to the purchasing company.The organization also released a list of names of countries, fortunately it does not include the name of Pakistan.

It should be noted that this incident did not happen for the first time with social media users but even in 2019.Hackers stole the secure data of more than 41 crore users from Facebook and sold it.Which was later confirmed by Facebook.
