Scientists have been searching for a Earth-like planet.Earth Two, for a long time. But so far thousands of other planets have not been found.Scientists believe that some where in such a large universe.Another Earth would be necessary.Astronomers are reluctant to believe that we are alone in this universe of 13.7 billion light-years.
- However, the question is why the earth is unique?
- why is n't it easy to find a planet like Earth?
The answer is that there are many factors that make the earth the most suitable for life. That is, not a single factor. But a long story of coincidences upon coincidences.
Distance from the sun
This is the distance from the earth to the sun.which is called the 'habitable zone'.This means that the earth is at a distance from the sun.Which is necessary for liquid water. If the distance from the sun were shorter. Then the same thing would have happened to the earth as it did to the planet Mercury. That is the matter. There would have been consumed by the heat and there would have been no possibility of life. The water would turn to ice.
Rotate the axis
Venus and Earth are about the same size.
However, one difference between the two is their distance from the sun.
However, another important difference is the rotation on its axis. That is the earth rotates on its axis once in twenty-four hours. While the speed of Venus is very low. That is why the part of it that is towards the sun.The temperature there is much higher than that of Mercury. While the part on the other side is completely dark and the image of low temperature remains.Because of this, the gases on one side are very hot and cold on the other side and there are devastating storms.
The Earth,
However, is neither hot nor cold due to its excellent rotational speed on its axis. That is why life is possible here.If this pace were slow. The environment here would not be conducive to life.
The moon is one and the best
Our nearest planet is the moon.Which revolves around the earth. We cannot say with absolute certainty how long the moon has existed and how it formed.
However, according to scientific theories. The protoplanet was formed about four and a half billion years ago by the collision of a small planet with the Earth. That is, a planet collided with the newly formed earth and thus the matter flying from the earth created the moon.Initially, the moon was very close to the earth and therefore the rotation of the earth was very fast. That is, one day was equal to only six hours.Gradually the moon moved away from the earth.
According to scientists, the moon is still moving away from the earth at a rate of about four and a half centimeters per year.
This is due to the tremendous gravitational force of the moon.Which has slowed down the speed of the earth. While a certain degree of orbital inclination at the poles of the earth is also due to the moon.If there is no moon. Then the orbital motion of the earth is like that of Mars. That is the position of its poles is constantly changing.
Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person.
Life on earth is almost impossible without the moon
The earth is also a balloon
Earth is not just a rocky planet, but its atmosphere is with it like a balloon. On the one hand.It is a guarantee of life on earth and at the same time.It prevents thousands of meteors from falling from the sky every year from reaching the surface of the earth. When high-velocity meteorites move more rapidly toward the Earth's surface due to the Earth's gravity. They fuse with the air and turn into fireballs and burn to ashes before reaching the Earth's surface.
However, if a very large meteorite grows towards the earth. Then this atmosphere will fail to stop it.Scientists believe that the collision of a single meteorite with the Earth 300 million years ago.Led to the extinction of most of the world's life, including dinosaurs, and that life on Earth has somehow resumed its journey.
The atmosphere destroys meteors moving towards the earth in the air
Earth's magnetic system
There is a huge amount of iron in the center of the earth. The earth has a very strong magnetic field due to its rotation on its axis.Suppose we are living on a mighty magnet. This magnet protects life on earth.Every moment trillions of powerful charged particles come to the earth from the sun.But this magnetic field does not allow them to reach us.The Northern Lights in northern Norway are actually a manifestation of this magnetic force. These highly radio active particles can only enter the Earth from the poles. If the earth does not have a magnetic field. Then the sun's radio active rays will not allow life on earth to be possible.
Life on earth, not one reason
These are just some of the reasons why life on earth exists.
However, there are many other reasons.Earth-seekers actually have to look at all of these things.Because without any of these elements, life and evolution on the planet would be in jeopardy.
However,Scientists believe that the Milky Way (the galaxy in which our solar system is located) contains about 200 billion stars and millions of solar system-like systems.
Similarly, there are about 200 billion galaxies in the universe. In that case, it is possible that there are many Earth-like planets.
However, the distances are so great that it may take time to reach a creature on another planet or we may never reach it.
