Chinese space mission successfully reaches moon || Cheng Five Mission

 

China's Cheng Five mission has successfully reached the surface of the moon.

The purpose of the Cheng Five mission is to collect soil and rock samples from the lunar surface and bring them back to Earth.During the mission, the lunar vehicle will spend the next few days on the surface of the moon and collect material to test the geological features of the area.

The lunar vehicle will collect about two kilograms of dust from the moon's surface.The lunar vehicle send it to Earth via another part of the robotic spacecraft orbiting the moon.

Earlier, 44 years ago, during the Soviet Union's Luna 24 mission.Only 200 grams of soil was collected from the moon's surface for inspection.
