Google's Free Service Available to Use

Google has extended the duration of its free video conferencing service until June 30.

The purpose of this service was to facilitate communication between people during the Corona virus epidemic.

Google launched its video conferencing service for free in April 2020.

This conferencing service was previously only available to G Suite customers and was available for  6 dollars per month.

Google announced on the occasion that the duration of the free video call will be up to 60 minutes, but it was to be implemented from September 30.

However, in September, the period was extended to March 31, 2021 and the one-hour limit was lifted on that occasion.

Once again, the company has announced that customers will be able to use Google Mate for free until June 30.During which time calls will continue for up to 24 hours.

Users can now add up to 100 people to a video conference at Google Met.

In order to add more people, you have to buy a Google Workspace subscription.After which two and a half hundred people can be part of the conference.

These people will not only need to install the Google Mate app but will also be able to participate in the conference through a web browser.

The free version of Google Mate required to use a Gmail account.

Google Mate can be used on your computer and laptop to meet.google.com and Google Mate app available for iOS and Android devices.

On the other hand, Google has taken various steps to protect privacy, including host controls, whether or not to add someone to a meeting, mute or remove people from the chat, complex meeting codes and encryption.
